Project Manager R&D (f/m/d)

Full-time, as soon as possible

Your tasks:

  • Effective establishment and implementation of all R&D processes of the company
  • Execute the effective implementation of our wearable neurostimulation technology according to all relevant guidelines while working closely with the quality management and regulatory team
  • Guarantee product improvement, optimization, innovation and documentation quality of our products
  • Establish and insure a safe coordination of the industrialization process and technology transfer from and to contract manufacturers as well as the whole manufacturing and production process of our product portfolio
  • Support QM system certification audits (ISO 13485), as well as inspections by authorities of the QM system and organize and improve the technical file of our product portfolio
  • Support regular internal audits and perform regular supplier audits
  • Planning, monitoring and development of all resources for the execution of R&D projects and life cycle management including product care and maintenance
  • Build-up of the R&D team including budgeting, monitoring, action planning, and personnel planning

Your qualifications:

  • Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, biomedical engineering (HTL, FH, TU)
  • At least 4 years of experience in project management in the medical device industry, ideally supplemented by leadership of a small R&D team
  • Expertise in building medical devices integrating hardware and software from pre-launch to maturity, complying with all regulations according to the Medical Device Directive (93/42/EWG) and the Medical Device Regulation (EU) 2017/745
  • Experience or knowledge in deviations and CAPAs management
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Solution-oriented, analytical thinking and decision making to implement complex systems
  • Intrinsic understanding of trends in related markets, products and technologies
  • Open minded personality willing to take responsibility in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Enthusiastic and inquiring team player with a high degree of flexibility and hands-on mentality
